Geoffrey R. Wickwire, M.D.

Dr. Geoffrey R. Wickwire joined the South Shore Internal Medicine Associates in 1979. He graduated from Williams College in 1969 with a B.A. in biology. He attended New York Medical College and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society in 1973. He then did his internship and three-year residency in Internal Medicine at the Univeristy of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan and finished his training with a two-year fellowship in Gastroenterology at the Lahey Clinic in Boston.

He is board certified both in Internal Medicine and in Gastroenterology. He has been in practice at the Milton Hospital ever since, both as a primary care internist and gastroenterologist. At this time, he is the Chief of Medicine at Milton Hospital and also serves on the Board of Directors of the Hospital Corporation.

His interests, in addition to the above, include cancer detection and prevention and patient education in all manners of physical and mental health and wellness.
