Dr. Patel joined South Shore Internal Medicine in 2017. She earned her medical degree from Silchar Medical College in India. She completed Internal Medicine Residency and subsequently Chief Residency at Boston University Medical Center. She completed general cardiology fellowship followed by advanced cardiac imaging fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Her clinical interests include valvular disease, cardiomyopathies, and women’s heart health. In addition, she is passionate about medical and patient education.
Dr. Patel is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Echocardiography. She is a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society and American College of Cardiology.
