Dr. Cronin joined South Shore Internal Medicine in 1986. He grew up in Boston and earned his bachelor’s degree from Harvard College and his medical degree from University of Massachusetts Medical School in 1981. He completed his internship, residency, and cardiology fellowship at the New England Deaconess Hospital. He has been a clinical instructor in medicine at Harvard Medical School and is on staff at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Milton and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Boston.
Dr. Cronin is board certified in Cardiovascular disease and Internal Medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
Dr. Cronin has been actively involved in the Milton community as he has served as the president of the Milton hospital medical staff, chief of the department of medicine, director of the intensive care unit, and currently on the Board of Directors at BID Milton. In addition, he has served as a board member of Milton residence for the elderly for 18 years and currently involved with the St. Rock Haiti Foundation, a non-profit agency providing healthcare and social services in Haiti.
